PDC.E lightning rods have been designed to shorten the atmospheric discharge time, thus ensuring greater lightning capture capacity. Before the approach of the downward leader, originating from the storm cloud, an increase in the electric field is generated.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This is accumulated by the PLUG device, which through high-voltage impulses causes the discharge of the energy accumulated in the device in the form of an upward leader. _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; min_height=&#8221;302.4px&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The installation of <strong>INGESCO<\/strong><strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong><strong> PDC<\/strong> lightning rods must comply with the regulations and standards <strong>UNE 21.186:2011, NFC<br \/>17-102:2011 NP 4426:2013<\/strong>, and the following recommendations should be taken into account:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The tip of the lightning rod must be placed at least two meters above the highest point of the building it protects.<\/li>\n<li>For mast installation, the lightning rod will require a suitable adapter.<\/li>\n<li>The enclosure wiring must be protected against surges, and metallic masses present in the safety zone must be connected to the down conductors.<\/li>\n<li>The lightning rod must be connected to the grounding system using one or more conductive cables running down, whenever possible, through the outside of the building with the shortest and most direct path.<\/li>\n<li>The grounding connection or connections, whose resistance must not exceed 10 ohms, must guarantee the fastest possible dissipation of the lightning discharge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_video src=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/o8gsRNbBgdo&#8221;
